Practical Systems Business Protection Cover
All new purchasers automatically receive full Business Protection Cover for the programs they have purchased for a period of one year from the purchase date.
Practical Systems Business Protection Cover will ensure:
- Your software is kept up to date. Business Protection entitles you to all product updates and upgrades, including new versions, as they are released. New programs are released annually, on a set quarter each year. This ensures that you are always using the latest technology and that your software always complies with industry and Government requirements
- Help is always at hand. Business Protection provides you with email, web and free 1800 telephone support to help you through any queries you may have. Use of this service is unlimited for your period of cover.
- Data Repair. Our database experts will fix any problems you have in your database arising from computer failure or unscheduled shutdown due to storms etc. This service is available in normal working hours and repaired database files are normally returned within 24 hours, depending on the extent of the damage.
- Discounts and special offers. Business Protection entitles you to discounts on product training courses as well as other special offers as appropriate.
- Essential information. Regular newsletters and email bulletins help you keep abreast of your software and industry.
The details of the Cover are:
- Free 1800 support during business hours (8.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday) (normally $114.40 per hr)
- Database repair.
- Regular newsletters and technical support bulletins
- Free program upgrades - programs are upgraded once per year.
- Email support for database problems and program management.
Business Protection Cover Renewal
Business Protection Cover is attached to each program and is free for the first year (Purchasers of multiple programs attract a discount of 10% per program on each extra program).
It is highly recommended that Business Protection Cover be renewed annually. (Users that allow their Business Protection Cover to lapse will be required to pay a higher fee when restarting their Cover. The re-start fee is based on how out-of-date the version of the program being used at the time of re-start).
Protection Cover is $242 ($220.00 + $22.00 GST ) per program per annum; except for:
- Cashbook Plus! for Small Business Basic Edition and FarmMap (Stand alone edition) which are $121 ($110.00 + $11.00 GST ) per program per annum; and
- Cashbook Plus! For Primary Producers Startup Edition and Stockbook Lite which are $181.50 ($165.00 + $16.50 GST )
- Farmbook Premium Add-ons which vary in price depending on the module purchased.
Annual renewal of Business Protection Cover is discounted by 10% for clients using more than one Practical Systems program. |
