Bob Locke
Chairman of the Board and Chief Financial Officer

Bob Locke is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience in Public Accounting with a range of farming, small business and institutional clients. Bob has more than 20 years experience using computerised accounting and management systems. In 1992 Bob started Practical Systems and completed the technical design and programming of the company’s two original software products: Cashbook Plus! financial management system and Farmbook farm records system. Bob now maintains an active part-time role with the company as Chief Financial Officer, designer of the financial management software products and is the Chairman of the Board.

Mark Morton
Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director

Mark Morton was appointed Chief Executive Officer in July 2008. Mark has a degree in Agricultural Economics, Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and is a Fellow of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation. Mark has over 20 years experience with Australian agribusiness in both a finance and management consulting role.

Bill Gallagher
Non – Executive Director 

Gallagher Group Chairman and Group Chief Executive
Renowned as an astute businessman whose communication skills and business influence are nationally and internationally recognised.
Bill Gallagher was awarded the MBE in 1987 and the Queen's Medal (Commonwealth) in 1990. Bill was also the 1996 winner of the prestigious Excellence in Communication Leadership award, the first time since its beginning in 1961 that the award had gone outside North America. In 1998 Bill was awarded Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit (CNZM) in The Queen's New Year Honours List.

Steve Tucker
Non – Executive Director, Alternate for Bill Gallagher 

Deputy CEO Gallagher Group Limited (GGL), Steve is responsible for the general management of GGL’s day to day Operations and the Animal Management business division. As an Executive Director of the parent company Board, Steve has a wider responsibility for GGL’s strategy and corporate governance.

David Turner
Non – Executive Director 

David Turner has an agronomic background with over 33 years experience in successful irrigated, dryland and mixed farming enterprises.  David is a past Chairman of both Namoi Cotton Co-operative Ltd and the Australian Cotton Growers Research Association

Hugh Beattie
Non – Executive Director 

Hugh joined the company in 1993, was appointed CEO in 2003 and retired as CEO in 2008.  Hugh has a background in the services, Wing Commander of the Royal Australian Airforce. Hugh is a farmer in the New England tablelands of NSW conducting a superfine wool growing and commercial merino stud.  Hugh now acts as a consultant and non–executive Director to the company.
