Meazura Handheld
Practical Systems imports the specially designed ruggedised Meazura Palm PDA unit from Aceeca in NZ for operating the company's StockHand software. The unit can be supplied with, or without, a RFID electronic tag reader head built in.
StockHand is a mobile application that allows you to carry your animal data around with you on any Palm compatible device.
StockHand uses the animal records from Stockbook and must be run in conjunction with that program.StockHand you can download all or a subset of the animal information you require from within Stockbook and have it available at you finger tips whether you are in the yards, in the paddock or anywhere else for that matter.
StockHand is split into a few different sections:
- Setup - allows you to configure how you enter data. You can configure it to allow you to work the way you want to.
- Viewing Animal Data - allows you to view virtually all of the animal data that you currently have in Stockbook, in the palm of your hand. This data can be updated every time you Hot Sync your Palm device, so that it will always be current.
- Task Based Data Entry - a simple and efficient way to enter information. Once entered you can review this information and ultimately transfer it straight back into Stockbook
- Data Entry Tools - specific tools that allow you to quickly perform specific data entry operations.
